From Awareness to Action: A Multifaceted Approach to Post-Intensive Care Syndrome in Indonesia

  1. Symposium
  2. Academic Oral Session
  3. Poster Session

The symposia will include oral presentations. Each presenter will be given 10 minutes for their presentation. We are seeking presenters for a symposium on three topics below;

1) Muscle assessment using ultrasound -Where is the best measurement point?

Ultrasound has recently been gaining attention as a way to evaluate muscle atrophy. We seek presentations on the advantages and disadvantages of using ultrasound for the upper arm, thigh, and diaphragm, based on the latest evidence. We are seeking presentations that lead to the best measurement points.

2) Changing Culture! Team Collaboration to Maximize the effectiveness of Mobilization

Promoting early mobilization requires indispensable team collaboration. We seek presentations on innovative multi-disciplinary collaboration efforts, family engagement, and the practice of advance care planning.

3) Forefront of PICS Measures -What is the best approach for physical, cognitive and mental function? –

Even after the acute phase has passed, impairments in physical function, cognitive function, and mental function remain long-term issues as part of Post-Intensive Care Syndrome (PICS). We seek presentations from each facility on the clinical approach to address each of these impairments.

Each presenter will be given 10 minutes for oral presentation. We are seeking presenters for an academic session below;

1) Latest Innovative approach of Early Mobilization and Rehabilitation for Critically ill patients

Critical care approaches are constantly evolving to improve patient outcomes. We are seeking innovative and unique initiatives from around the world.

Poster presentations will accept a wide range of topics, not only related to early mobilization and rehabilitation but also covering ICU and acute-phase treatment, as well as nursing care.

Poster presentations are grouped by topic within the poster area. Presenters have 60-minute discussion during time frame “Poster Viewing” Presenters are free to engage in discussions with participants who are interested in your research.

 The Asia-Pacific Early Mobilization Network Office will provide thumbtacks and an 2.3-foot-wide by 4-foot-high carpeted, framed board on which to mount your poster. Poster presenters should create and bring their posters to the venue, ensuring they fit within the size of the framed board. As long as the poster fits within this size, there are no restrictions on the number of charts, figures, or photos, allowing you to freely present your research content.
